I know, I know, what’s the point. The point was to get away for an overnight camp out in Big Bear. My route was to the mountain community of Idyllwild then onto Big Bear, the return was the reverse except for taking Sage Road after leaving Idyllwild. Temperatures ranged from 80s to 37 at night. Fortunately Rudy and Yvette turned up the heat with a 45,000 BTU outdoor propane heater. Rudy made a flat-bed trailer which he tows behind his Goldwing. Once its unloaded it transforms into a cooking center equipped with hot water for washing up. Keith showed off his latest propane stove creation, and as usual it’s a work of art and function.
